I'm searching for a gaming PC that can handle Dota 2 at 4K resolution for 60 frames per second. The details I have in mind include a Ryzen 5 3600 (used), a Gigabyte B450M DS3H motherboard (used), 16GB of Corsair RGB RAM (8GB x 2, used), a Galax GTX 1660 6GB (used), and a PSU and case from previous builds. The total budget is around $774. I'm open to suggestions if my setup isn't sufficient. Please let me know if you need adjustments. Thanks!

if you're mainly interested in playing numerous esports games, it might be a good fit. for pure triple A titles, it wouldn't be ideal. if you're focused on Dota 2 at 4K with 60fps, this should suffice. to boost performance for 4K gaming across all titles, consider the 3070 or 6700 xt—this will keep you in the medium-to-high range for any game. - cavetown

Your request was updated. You're planning to stream Dota 2 at 4K resolution with a frame rate of 60fps, using a maximum resolution of 4096x2160. The suggested GPU options are 3070 or 6700 XT.

If you intend to watch every match at 4K 60, then it's a yes. However, if you're mainly focusing on Dota 2, the GTX 1660 should suffice. - cavetown

Thanks for the input! I'm checking if those details make sense given the cost. The specs look solid for the price point.

What other titles are you playing and what settings do you use to maximize performance? - cavetown

Honestly, I don’t play much these days except Dota 2. If you asked me about other games I’d enjoy, I might try CSGO or Apex Legends. My aim is to make sure the games I mentioned can run smoothly at 4K with 60 frames per second and a resolution of 4096 x 2160. Of course, I don’t expect the FPS to stay steady at 60 unless it works for me.

I wouldn't expect a 1660 to reach 60fps at 4k on Apex... though lowering settings would help. CSGO would probably run in 4k at 40-50fps. Since it's mostly CPU-intensive, the CPU would handle more work than the GPU. Either way, this setup works well for playing many esports games. - cavetown
