I was caught off guard by hitting a CPU cap during a match. The match took place on Argonne Forest—dense vegetation and complex physics—on 64-player operations. There was a lot of heavy fire spam, especially mortar, grenades, and field guns. I felt the game running a bit stiff, so I checked my MSI Afterburner data and saw my CPU hitting high percentages in all cores (around 90%+) and GPU usage near 60%. Despite Ultra settings and 150% resolution, I was only managing about 46–50 FPS. My i5-6600K at 4.5 GHz paired with a GTX 1070 caused this slowdown. This was unusual for me, as I usually maintain smooth performance at 60 FPS or higher. It looks like something beyond just my hardware might be the issue. I also use DX12 mode, which seems to run smoothly in one test, so I left it enabled. I haven’t tried DX11 in a similar situation yet.
