You should be able to play Battlefield 1 smoothly on your setup. With an HD 7970 graphics card, an A-10 5800k processor, and 8GB of RAM, running the game at 1080p should provide a solid frame rate.

High-ultra 1080p performance is achievable, the R9 380 can handle it smoothly. See the benchmarks for 20 GPUs tested at 1080p, 1440p, and 4K on HardwareUnboxed.

My frame rate is around 100 FPS at 1440p resolution. I’m not sure how they achieved the 89 FPS, but maybe they can boost it even more.

These standards come from the campaign, but they're significantly less demanding...

The HD 7970 could reach around 60 FPS at 1080p, possibly even higher with strong settings, though its slow CPU may cause some issues, particularly in multiplayer games.

It’s hard to run it smoothly at low settings. I’m averaging about 30 frames per second, so maybe it’s time for a new CPU.

i have to agree...the benchmarks i have seen so far are pure BS...i get around 100FPS on all ultra 1440p on single player and about the same on the multiplayer maps because the multiplayer maps i've found tend to be a bit less detailed than what is found on the singleplayer...anyways...here is a clip of one of the most demanding single player portion...as you can see it run stupidly well...on all ULTRA (afterburner stats fully provided and graphics settings shown at beginning and end of the video) ...and this is while recording footage with shadowplay: 89FPS my ass...
