You're questioning what it truly means for something to be playable. It's odd to stick with older monitor sizes like 4:3 or 5:4. Connect your PC to a contemporary display or TV and observe the experience. The outdated LCD refresh rate likely causes everything to appear blurry. At around 30 frames per second, mouse movements might feel sluggish, making it hard to sense consistent timing. It's frustrating too, especially when testing titles like GTA V and The Witcher 3, which prioritize animation over smooth performance. How can you assess playability when the game intentionally sacrifices quality for visual effects? Your hardware exceeds expectations, yet GTA V still feels terrible—not because of your setup, but because the game itself is flawed. Similarly, Doom 2016 has noticeable motion blur; turning it off makes it much more responsive and easier to judge.

I'm not talking about a "muddy blur fest." Back then, most folks played at 720p and didn't wait for animations to finish. If your system isn't running smoothly with titles like GTA V or DOOM, it might be due to optimization problems. This wasn't my main machine—it was just a quick check to see how old hardware handled modern games. Sorry if the test didn’t meet your expectations!

It's not the resolution; it's how old the panels are. Even with widescreen monitors becoming standard, most LCD panels remained low quality. In GTAV? What? There’s no way to make animations work smoothly in GTAIV or GTAV, turning them into responsive games. Great job missing the main point and being overly critical. If I’d known you were going for a joke, I’d have prepared something funny about playing a Naruto game.

I experimented with various settings to check performance. To be frank, the result isn't impressive—still, it's not completely bad. It's not 1080p, but it doesn’t appear blurry either. You might have used a poor monitor before. Sorry for the tone; I misunderstood your message and was already frustrated before reading it.

I usually check suggested specs because of my setup. I believe those recommendations are quite accurate—most recent AAA games suggest a GTX 1060 and a current i5, which fits my system. I run all my games at 1680x1050 with high or maximum settings, or I skip them entirely. So far it's been fine. Personally, I don't consider 720p at 30fps playable; to me, smooth performance is essential and 30fps isn't smooth enough.
