System shutting down intermittently
Hello, Your PC has been running smoothly for four months before it began shutting down intermittently and restarting. I’ve checked all components except the motherboard, as it’s an AM4 model and your other system uses AM5. I’m considering a few possibilities: unstable power in certain outlets (the PSU fails even with a 1000W unit), or a short circuit involving fans, peripherals, or other parts. I’ve updated the BIOS, refreshed drivers, installed a fresh Windows version, and removed any suspicious applications. Your other PC is functioning well despite the power concerns. Did you assemble the system yourself or purchase it four months back? Have you tested connecting it to a different power source in the building to exclude issues with the outlet? Do you own a PSU? A good PSU includes a power filter to manage noisy building electricity. Is your cooling arrangement functioning properly? Would you like a visual of what’s happening inside the enclosure?
After updating the BIOS, it’s best to uninstall components one by one—starting with the graphics card and RAM—while booting the system each time. If that doesn’t resolve the issue, re-seat the CPU to help identify the problem. If the computer continues to loop, the CPU or motherboard might be the culprit.
