PC restarts unexpectedly during gameplay, and sometimes the Radeon drivers are swapped for Windows 10 versions. The last occurrence was linked to a failing graphics card, so I replaced it. This time the problem isn’t clear. No entries in Event Logger or Reliability Monitor. Seeking suggestions on how to identify the root cause of Windows restarting. Your PC specs: Asrock B450M Pro, Ryzen 3600, Powercolor Fighter, RX 6600, 8GB RAM, 32GB storage, Western Digital 1TB WD Blue SN550 NVMe SSD, Thermaltake Smart 700W power supply.

It seems like you're asking if the computer is behaving strangely, possibly freezing or restarting unexpectedly.

While playing, the system will restart. It can occur at the start of the game or even before I begin. At first, I assumed it was overheating from the CPU or GPU, but HWInfo monitoring shows it isn't. Another possibility is the power supply unit, though I'm unsure how to test that without replacing it.

Perform a hard reset, usually the power supply unit is the issue. Try updating the BIOS and adjust the voltage for GPU, CPU, and undervolt settings. If undervolting helps, the problem is likely the PSU. Power loss causing the GPU to fail may indicate a GPU or motherboard issue. Ask someone you know if they have a computer and let them test it. Make sure your PSU is more capable than yours.

Look in your bios for a setting labeled "behavior on restoration of pawer" under Power Options.

That's another possibility. If that's the issue, I'd expect a UPS.

That PSU is in the D tier, probably the cause of the problem.

Absolutely, you're getting a good deal unless you're unlucky. That Evga Supernova 1600 G2 Gold really shines with platinum quality.

I don't have a direct link, but you can find the PSU tier list on their official website or through reputable tech forums.
