High-end motherboards feature a CMOS reset button on the I/O panel. Some mid-range models include a reset button directly on the board, and if these options aren't available, you can remove the CMOS battery and use a screwdriver to connect the two connectors (where the battery was). There should also be a CMOS reset jumper that can be moved to the reset position, functioning similarly to the screwdriver method previously described, and then returned.
