Hi, I see you're dealing with a PC that randomly restarts and then loops during boot. You've already checked the power button and cable, but it still causes issues. It seems the problem might be related to the power connection or a failing component. Have you tried testing the motherboard or checking for any signs of damage?

Did your tests involve connecting a different wiring setup temporarily? Even if you confirmed the internal switch works, did you use another switch to see if the issue persisted? If repeating the test with a different case switch brings the problem back, you likely identified the source. If it still works with a temporary switch, the issue probably lies elsewhere.

Hi Windows7ge, I didn’t consider testing it with another switch, thanks for the suggestion. I’ll try that and come back soon with the outcome. Edit: After swapping in a new power switch, it worked. The old cable or switch was faulty and causing random boot loops. I replaced both with new parts, and the PC is now functioning properly.
