In advance, thanks for reaching out. I’m glad you’re looking into this carefully. My PC frequently powers off and restarts during gaming without any obvious cause. I checked AIDA64 logs, but didn’t find specific CPU spikes during crashes. It can stay on for days unless I turn it off, suggesting sustained load issues. I suspect a power supply might be the culprit, though I can’t reproduce it through tests. There are no entries in my events manager about these shutdowns. I’m using a 64-bit Windows 11 Pro 23H2 system with the listed hardware. RAM is Corsair Vengeance 32GB DDR5, the PSU is Corsair RM750E NVME, and I have a PNY CS2140 SSD. The HDD is WD Blue. These interruptions generally stem from brief power surges that the power supply unit can't manage. Such spikes are usually too fleeting to appear in standard monitoring tools. Look into Windows EventViewer for more detailed insights.

You could simply run memtest to see how it performs. It’s a straightforward way to check stability without needing other tools.

I also run OCCT graphics card stress tests in Prime95 with the background process. This typically works well (though the free version limits tests to 30 minutes, Firmware can be a better choice).

This happened while running GPU, CPU, and RAM tests together, making it hard to pinpoint exactly what caused the problem. OCCT mentioned an interesting observation about power consumption dropping before the shutdown.

This was intended to recreate the issue. You can run RAM separately without any GPU load and check if crashes occur. A heavy FFT workload doesn’t heavily strain the CPU; to rule out CPU as the cause, try a minimal FFT test.
