I've faced a strange problem with my mini PC. It won't boot normally, just showing the loading screen and restarting without any errors. Safe mode works perfectly fine. All the troubleshooting steps I tried—like advanced options, system restore, repair tools, and fixing BIOS settings—just caused it to keep restarting. Some commands worked temporarily, but others failed or gave errors. I've checked USB ports, different drives, and even used Rufus to create a bootable USB, but the issue persists. It seems like something fundamental might be wrong with the hardware or firmware. I'm not sure what's causing it, but I'm running out of ideas. Any advice would be really helpful. Thanks.

Are your system details current? Have you used a 13-14 Intel processor that may have worn out? Did you test without the GPU, using igpu instead? Was there another external hard drive connected only during the Windows setup? Updated on August 13, 2025 by leclod

Not sure about BIOS, it's a pretty old mini pc and I couldn't find any new bios version so far. It's i5-10310U There's no GPU When I tried to boot through USB I removed the NVME completely having only the bootable USB

Consider testing with a Linux disc like Ubuntu. When the system starts, it should boot from the USB instead of the internal SSD. If this happens, try replacing the SSD. Based on your description, this is probably the problem.

You're experiencing problems during the Linux image burn, with safe mode working and the bootable USB failing to load Windows. The issue might not be the NVMe drive itself, as it boots normally, but something more complex is affecting the installation process. Even if the NVMe is faulty, the bootable USB should still work. The repeated restarts suggest a deeper system or driver problem.

I know. If you have an extra storage device, like an HDD, you can attempt it. (Restart your BIOS) Edited August 13, 2025 by leclod

Indicating safe mode means the drivers are damaged, possibly due to RAM issues. However, I’d still consider using a different drive.

It seems you're having trouble with the BIOS settings. You've already attempted to reset it and are trying to swap the RAM between devices. You mentioned checking if the RAM slot is on a different mini PC and that you're not dealing with the physical slot itself.

Consider alternative SSD options and test them. If drivers on your original drive fail, the system may still start despite a RAM swap.
