I have a 6700k OC'ed to 4.5Ghz, it works well for gaming, rendering videos, and heavy CPU tasks. However, sometimes when I start my PC and begin browsing the web, it suddenly powers off and restarts without warning. This has never happened with any of my previous CPUs, so I’m unsure if this is due to an unstable OC or something else. It seems stable under load and doesn’t restart, yet it crashes when idle. Please let me know if you can help!

This occurs during CPU overclocking. If you enable overclocking, the CPU runs at higher voltage continuously, and sleep configurations C1 and C3 are turned off. Restart the UEFI to factory settings and check if the issue continues.

attempt to perform similar light operations once more without the OC, since it needs to be handled carefully due to instability, particularly during these low-demand tasks where the CPU usually operates at reduced voltages to conserve energy.

It looks like your computer shuts down after waking from sleep mode, taking roughly a minute to restart, and I don't get why that happens.
