System specifications include a Ryzen 9 5950x processor, a Nvidia 3080 FE graphics card, an NVMe SSD with 2TB capacity, another 2TB SSD, and an ASUS ROG X570 crosshair monitor. The system runs on Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 32GB RAM, a 3600MHz kit powered by a Corsair HX1000 1000W Platinum Plus PSU, and uses Windows 10 Home 64-bit with BIOS version 0702. The main concern is a recurring issue that started after building the PC, occurring roughly once every two weeks. During these events, the computer would randomly restart, and the RAM LEDs would become stuck. Occasionally, the MOBO would display a 00 code and needed resetting from the power supply. Usage and temperatures stayed within normal ranges—CPU around 50°C, GPU about 70°C under load—and power consumption remained low. At first, I thought it might be related to memory, but running a memtest confirmed everything was fine. The problem persists despite careful monitoring.
I own a Corsair H150i 360mm AIO and am attempting a manual RAM overclock to reach 3600MHz.
I made the BIOS update today. I'll monitor it closely for the coming weeks and let you know if it resolved the problem!
The BIOS was recently updated a few weeks back, but we're still facing the same problem today. That's a bit disappointing.
