Hello everyone, I was watching a movie on my computer while browsing the internet. Suddenly, my PC shut down completely. When I tried to restart it by pressing the power button, nothing happened. I turned off my UPS and then turned it back on, pressing the CPU power button. For a brief moment, my fans and GPU lights came on before turning off again. After that, if I press the power button once more, nothing occurs. I need to restart the UPS and then press the power button just to see the fans and GPU lights for a second. Am I dealing with a bad PSU? Should I consider buying a new power supply?

Reset CMOS first. 40GB of RAM. What's the configuration and brand and model of the RAM? Motherboard BIOS fully up to date?

Configuration details: two 16GB drives and one 8GB drive. The setup has worked well smoothly after adding the extra 8GB stick a few months ago. All BIOS updates are complete.

Attempted to boot the computer without the 8GB drive. Output remains unchanged.

Are you certain it's the vintage yellow label non-modular 850W Bronze unit? It’s more than ten years old and might be the cause.

You have an EVGA Supernova 1000 GT, and the system is functioning properly. Your previous power supply unit has failed. Use F to acknowledge payment.
