Updated: pbo, xmp, and gpu settings are undervolting. No crashes yet, but occasional long periods without issues followed by sudden problems. The system feels sluggish when shutting down, and the BIOS appears to run slowly overall. No noticeable difference in app or game performance.
I believe the problem might be related to your current configuration. Running the system with default settings first could help rule out hardware issues. This aggressive undervolt setting (2010mhz on 3xxx) is doable for my card (3070) in a few games, but it's not always reliable. Tldr: try default settings except possibly limiting GPU power, since high draw can affect performance on certain GPUs.
I'm curious about the slow startup. It feels like everything is more reliable now without XMP and PBO. These problems seem new despite using the system for about four years without any issues. My GPU runs at 975mv at 2010mhz, and memory is around 250mhz. It worked perfectly for years without any problems. I mainly play two GPU-heavy games, and even the worst-optimized one lasted only a week. Since it's stable without those tweaks, I'll stick with it as is for now.
