Recently, my gaming sessions have shown the CPU running at full capacity with minimal frame rates, and my FPS has dropped significantly. I'm unsure whether to upgrade to a high-performance CPU or explore other solutions, given my current setup. My system uses an AMD Ryzen 3 3200G in balanced mode, not a high-end configuration. Please advise if you need guidance! Specifics: CPU Ryzen 3 3200G, motherboard A320M-K, GPU RX 580, 16GB RAM, Corsair Vengeance x2 at 3000MHz, PSU ROG STRIX 750W, 1TB HDD, Barracuda.

Which titles are available? 3200g is a 4/4 chip, and hitting 100% in fresh games is quite typical.

Your monitor is connected to the rear of the RX-580, not the motherboard. Is your RAM operating at the specified DDR4-3000 MHz? Also, are XMP or DOCP features activated?

Is your system using a traditional hard drive instead of an SSD? This can significantly slow down single-player Minecraft performance because the game constantly reads and writes data during chunk loading. During my HDD era, I kept Minecraft world files on a separate second HDD from the operating system drive, which greatly boosted speed when traveling since the OS didn’t compete for the same storage. For multiplayer sessions, the impact is less noticeable but the game becomes more CPU-heavy with more players. To enhance performance when CPU resources are limited, I’ve found reducing render distance to be most effective.
