You're experiencing high CPU usage while gaming, but the GPU remains underutilized. Lowering the graphics settings doesn't seem to help much. It might indicate a mismatch between your hardware and the game's demands, or potential thermal throttling. At 1440p, you're still seeing solid performance, so it's not an immediate red flag—but keep an eye on temperatures and ensure proper cooling.

It might point to a CPU limitation. Not certain yet.

I was facing the same problem too—it really frustrated me. The only fix I came up with was upgrading. I upgraded from an 8700k running 4.7 all cores to a 9900k running 5.0 all cores, and it stopped pinging at 100% during COD play. That said, I think you should check your processes and see what’s consuming CPU. It turns out some built-in programs from ASUS were using a lot of resources, so deleting their .exe files helped.

Cod demands significant CPU power in most multiplayer games with ten or more players on the same area.

It's slowing down a bit, but you're right about the performance. Warzone can be tough on older systems, especially with the large installation size.

If you enjoy playing games, you shouldn't worry too much. A 7600k might not look great right now, but it can be boosted a bit to improve performance. It's important to think about whether upgrading makes sense for you.

It seems like you're facing a performance issue. Your graphics card is working harder than necessary since the GPU struggles with 1440p resolution. Consider upgrading it for better results.

That is completely wrong for a multitude of reasons, there are not any extra draw calls for a CPU to handle when playing at a higher resolution, in fact there would be less dependence on the CPU at higher resolutions since the GPU has to do extra work, leaving framerates lower. His CPU is simply too low of a thread count for modern games.
