Hello, I'm really struggling right now! In November, I assembled my first PC. Here are the components: **CPU** | [Intel Core i5-12600K 3.7 GHz 10-Core Processor] **CPU Cooler** | [Deepcool AK620 68.99 CFM CPU Cooler] **Motherboard** | [MSI PRO B660-A DDR4 ATX LGA1700 Motherboard] **Memory** | [G.Skill Ripjaws V 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 Memory] **Storage** | [Western Digital Blue SN570 1 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 3.0 X4 NVME SSD] **Storage** | [Western Digital WD_BLACK 1 TB 3.5" 7200 RPM Internal Drive] **Storage** | [Western Digital WD_BLACK 1 TB 3.5" 7200 RPM Internal Drive] **Video Card** | [EVGA XC3 ULTRA GAMING GeForce RTX 3070 8 GB Video Card] **Case** | [Fractal Design Pop Air ATX Mid Tower Case] **Power Supply** | [EVGA SuperNOVA 750 P5 750 W 80+ Platinum Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply] The parts list suggested around 529W. In April, I revisited these steps: updated drivers, cleaned GPU software, reinstalled everything, verified connections. Things improved a lot. Until three days ago… I downloaded Baldur's Gate 3 and it kept rebooting! Feeling desperate, I tried leveling up again—PXL_20230901_122307314.TS.mp4. What I attempted: updated drivers, refreshed GPU settings, checked BIOS info, turned off XMP. The reboots skyrocketed! All I did was switch to XMP for RAM speed. Still no fix. Here are some snapshots: the Task Manager showed the crash in the video frame before it went black. B) C) D) I’m in Montreal, if needed, I’d visit a tech shop for a full fix… but I need a reference since I’m not sure what else.

It seems your memory might be a bit fuzzy, but it looks like the issue could be related to your RAM. I recall similar cases where replacing the RAM or power supply helped resolve the problem. Since you mentioned the XMP profile causing more trouble, it probably points to the RAM itself. You might try testing it in different slots or using only one stick at a time. Also, the video you shared doesn’t seem to work properly—only the audio is playing.

Sure, I can attempt one stick of RAM at a time. Please let me know which stick you'd like to try first.

I didn<|pad|> to mention the Windows RAM test and "No problem detected" messages for the initial replies. On my side, the video runs smoothly (reboot begins around second #3). @lafrente I plan to remove one stick and test again in the game. I'll continue posting...

Check the logs for any critical or error messages under "Windows logs"/"System". Even if you're unsure, a quick search might help someone here.

The only critical issue here is the system restart. There are several errors related to DCOM not being saved on time (event 10010).

Update from Inception9269 @lafrente: testing with a single stick in DIMMA2 so far, no issues. I plan to extend the run to confirm stability (yesterday lasted a full hour without restarts). I'll continue and report back. If successful, I'll attempt the test with both RAMs but in alternate lanes—removing the CPU cooler to reach DIMMA1, though later... (assuming each works independently would indicate DIMMB2 is faulty).

It might be the slot or the ram stick. Turn the sticks in the same slot to rule it out as the stick.
