Hello, I'm trying to figure out how to ask Google for help with this issue. Last night I turned off the desktop, but it came back on a few minutes later. It seems removing the network cable stops it from turning on. With years of experience in IT, I've checked all the settings about standby mode and network features, but nothing works. Anyone have suggestions? My system has a Gigabyte Z690 Aorus Master motherboard and an Asus RT-AC1200G+ router.

You searched for instructions to modify WOL, the process will be completed and I’ll get back to you soon. Updated: Disabled WOL in BIOS and Windows, currently desktop remains inactive. Not too late to learn. Edited March 2, 2023 by Shane_1968 Changes applied to system results
