Hey there! You've got an old HP Elite with an i7-860, a 750Ti SSD, and 12GB RAM. It's meant for a small gaming rig for your nephew, but it's acting up—random crashes, BSODs, and it just shuts down unexpectedly. You've already swapped out the PSU, GPU, and RAM, tried different drives, and even updated Windows twice. The memory tests look normal, but the system keeps failing. You're looking for advice on what to do next, bc.txt.

Attempt to start Linux. If it works, the issue is likely with Windows. If Windows fails, reinstall it. Also, confirm you have Windows 10 Pro installed.

It's the latest setup going live this morning. The second drive will arrive in two days and is working well so far—can handle up to eight hours. However, it experienced a problem after five minutes, which was quite unexpected.

Check the issues carefully. If you receive a BSOD message, it would help a lot.

It looks like the computer is experiencing issues while downloading or installing updates. The problematic file is OSE.exe, which is part of Microsoft Office Update tools. You might be using a very old version of Windows (1903), so creating fresh installation media with Microsoft’s Media Creation Tool could help you get the latest version and then reinstall it properly.

1903 seems like an odd winver report, but I’m updating it to 2004 now. If necessary, I’ll reinstall fresh. I ran it through Cinebench 15/20 and everything completed smoothly. Warframe works well on it. I noticed OSE.exe in the minidump—hope that’s okay. If I pause updates for a week, would that make OSE.exe unusable? In theory, fixing the issue should stop it. Thanks!
