Needed to set up Windows 7 on old hardware. Fortunate, I've faced this problem before and have the solution (guide for others). My question is: once I make a bootable USB for Windows 7, can I convert it into an .iso file? I use Ventoy to handle all my image files—hopefully this isn't unique.

That's how a bootable file is structured—it should contain an ISO image. https://adventuresinnostalgia.blogspot.c...-with.html Updated August 25, 2023 by thrasher_565
