i own an asus strix z590f motherboard. when i power on and activate cold boot bios, everything seems to reset properly. however, after waiting 6 to 10 hours, the bios doesn't clear and the system stays frozen. after a while, it stops working entirely, even though the time is correct. i'm unsure if this is connected to the bios resetting issue. anyone have any ideas? also, i noticed something odd when i plugged in my earphones after about two hours—volume on the left side was lower than the right. that seemed strange and might be related to the bios reset problem. please help!

Turning off the PC also means shutting down the power supply (the switch on the back) or removing the power cable. Avoid doing both. You might try replacing the CMOS battery to see if it improves things.
