According to what I know, the CPU temperature stays between 40 to 50 degrees, even when under stress. I don’t think cooling is the problem, so I’ll try it if there are no other options. For the Linux Mint distribution, the CPU frequency seems low—sometimes it can't reach 1000 or even 2000 unless only a couple cores are active while the rest remain idle.

You can check the clock frequencies using the terminal command provided. Monitor the output to see the values for each core. Keep in mind that the system might lower clock speeds to maintain temperature limits, so higher temperatures aren't always obvious. Running this will give you a clear view of the performance metrics.

Is the system under stress? The base clock for a 7500u is 2.7Ghz, meaning it's running a bit faster on three of the four cores. If you press shift and then capture the screen, you can get snapshots in a way similar to the Windows 10 snip tool.
