System Rebuild/upgrade/new build. Unable to run Death Stranding.
I encountered a Gaming Wall issue. After buying "Death Stranding," I discovered it won't work on Windows 7 64-bit and will need to use Windows 10. My setup includes:
i5-4670K, Z87 MB, 32GB RAM and GTX 970.
My other machine is my son's old notebook with an ASUS Notebook; it has an i5-4430, H81, 16GB RAM and likely a GTX 650 or GTX 560.
Which of these configurations could be improved to fit the game’s needs? Help would be greatly appreciated. I’d also like to add a second drive for Windows 10 as a backup boot option. Details below:
Death Stranding System Requirements (Minimum)
• CPU: Intel® Core™ i5-3470 or AMD Ryzen™ 3 1200
• RAM: 8 GB

• VIDEO CARD: GeForce GTX 1050 3 GB or AMD Radeon™ RX 560 4 GB
• PIXEL SHADER: 5.1
• VERTEX SHADER: 5.1
• SOUND CARD: DirectX compatible
• FREE DISK SPACE: 80 GB
• DEDICATED VIDEO RAM: 3 GB
Death Stranding Recommended Requirements

The initial system satisfies the basic standards except for missing Windows 10. It's clear that the era when using Windows 7 was appropriate is now behind us.
Upgrading further is possible, but it hinges on your financial situation.
