While gaming on my new PC, the machine would shut down after some time, cutting off any output. On the motherboard, the diagnostic lights followed the same pattern as a fresh restart, yet none of the component LEDs dimmed. I kept getting no response until I fully restarted the computer. My setup includes a Ryzen 5 7600x and a Gigabyte Aorus RX 6800 XT, both benchmarked successfully. The power supply is a Corsair RM750e and all drivers are current. VID_20240819_202422~5.mp4

The issue starts with overheating, could you share your CPU and GPU temperatures?

It seems the issue might not be the GPU overheating. Since you increased the fan speed manually, the problem persists. If it were a GPU issue, the benchmarks would likely reflect it too.

It seems the cooler might not be installed correctly. Would you like another PSU to check your computer's performance? The RX6800XT is a strong component, though even with a 750W rating it can sometimes cause power spikes that trigger overcurrent protection. Testing is tricky, but the signs are clear. It usually works normally during benchmarking but crashes during games. Let me know if you need more help.

It might be the CPU; keep an eye on the temps to confirm

During the crash, the CPU temperature reached 56.8° and the GPU at 56°. This occurred after a cold boot.

Not getting hot enough, so the next likely issue might be RAM problems. What are your RAM settings and clock speeds? It could also be a CPU problem if you've adjusted or lowered its voltage.

Ram operates at 6000 MT/s with 36-44-44-96 configuration at 1.35v CPU configurations are set to default in the BIOS.

Turn off Expo to see how it behaves, note that AM5 remains somewhat uncertain regarding RAM.
