Hello everyone, my setup is a Ryzen R5 5600X. I mainly play games, study, watch videos, stream, and edit short clips for my YouTube channel about cats. My system runs at 3200MHz RAM, and I recently saw a build guide recommending high-speed RAM. Should I upgrade to 3600MHz? I have the Tecware Forge M Black Ryzen R5 5600X Scythe Fuma2, an Asus TUF gaming B550M Plus with WiFi, Corsair Vengeance Pro SL RGB at 3200MHz, a 16GB NVMe M.2 SSD, Crucial P5 1TB, and an Asus TUF gaming X3 RX5700 with cooler.
You have 3200mhz RAM, which is likely a 2x8 configuration. Don’t upgrade solely for 3600mhz unless needed.
The spec at 3200mhz suffices; any changes in performance or editing are minimal.
