Good morning, fellow users. I recently upgraded my PC from a ROG 550 F with a 5800X to a 4070 Super, moving from 32GB Tridentz 3200 RAM (4x8) to 64GB Corsair 3600 RAM. I kept the same Windows installation as before; everything functions normally except for the graphics card and memory. My issue began after overclocking to 3600 in BIOS—auto should have made the new card work. Now it takes at least three minutes to load, and sometimes after hours of gaming it freezes. Audio and mouse responsiveness remain, but I can't launch or close applications. Even forcing a shutdown requires holding the power button. Any thoughts on what might be causing this? No USB connected on the BIOS flash.

Doing four sticks at 3200 MHz was impressive; however, 3600 RAM speed isn't suitable for four sticks on a 5800X. Consider lowering it to 3000–3200.

Use DOCP instead of adjusting RAM manually. If you boosted your RAM speed, timings likely didn’t change, which can lead to problems.

Processor not responding? I'll lower the speed and I'm using DOCP Auto.
