System powers off unexpectedly and restarts without any audio drivers functioning.
I’ve got a new PC that’s been running smoothly for three months until the latest updates to Fortnite and Hell Let Loose caused problems. The games would randomly crash and leave no sound drivers after reboot, even after reinstalling them. I reset everything back to defaults and tried benchmarking with maximum settings—Cinebench showed an AMD Ryzen 5 5600G, RTX 3050 and 16GB RAM. My system never got hot, staying under 70°F (157°F).
When the sound drivers are unloaded and you restart the computer, does audio function afterward? Your 5600G seems to stop working entirely after a restart, only to resume when the issue is resolved. It’s unclear what triggers the problem, but I suspect it might be related to loading new areas in memory while playing Diablo Immortal.
What RAM are you using? It seems like Fortnite is loading really slow and crashed a few times. Also, sound came back after restarting, but I had to install Realtek audio drivers before. Updated June 28, 2022 by apeo adding more details
You're experiencing stability problems with your Kingston 3200 CL18 RAM across different configurations, while the 3700X works well and the 5600G seems to be the only one affected.
This problem keeps happening and no one seems to know how to fix it.
