Hi everyone, I'm facing some problems with my Asus UX530UX laptop. Recently, it freezes and shuts down even when the charger is connected. It doesn't matter if it's plugged in or not—it turns off after about a minute on desktop. The fan runs at maximum speed for a couple seconds before stopping, and sometimes the screen backlight stays on without the splashscreen. I've tried restarting several times and even used system restore, but it keeps happening. On startup, fans go full blast and the screen lights up without the splash. I think a fresh installation would help, but I'm hesitant to proceed. Need advice!

My gut suggests a hardware issue if it doesn't power on correctly sometimes. It would be wise to check that first. If you can create installation media for Linux like Ubuntu or Mint, try booting from it and observe whether the problems continue while experimenting in the live system.

Absolutely, it's not trying to start up anymore.
