Hello everyone, today I upgraded my PC and added these parts: Ryzen 7 2700x, B450m Steel Legend, two Spectrix 8GB XPG D41 AX4U300038G16-BR41 3000mhz chips. The machine started fine but ran idle while YouTube was open. When I played a game in Unity it shut down instantly. After turning it off and plugging it back in, the components on the MOBO began to light up before the PC restarted itself. I adjusted the RAM speed step by step—first 2666MHZ, then 2993, then 3000—and everything stayed consistent. Under load Unity would crash after a few minutes, then reboot automatically. If I let it sit without intervention, it would turn on again after about 1-2 minutes. Sometimes when I load it, it opens Unity, runs a debug program, streams 4K YouTube, launches multiple apps and games, and shuts down within minutes (up to 10 minutes). I suspect overheating might be the issue, though all specs look normal and temperatures are high on the CPU. In Speccy I see elevated CPU temps, but Ryzen Master and A-tuning appear fine. I took photos just before it shut down during a long run. The full component list is attached.
Do you need any adjustments to ensure smooth operation? Are there specific settings or checks you should perform before using these parts? Any tips would be helpful.
