System powering off unexpectedly
This MWE 650 or cx650 cx550 variant offers higher quality at RM650, consuming around 300W. While it might be a bit overkill, each unit delivers excellent performance.
After 13 days, I purchased and set up the Corsair CX550. The power supply worked well, it didn’t fail like before, and my PC is no longer crashing. Thanks a lot for your help!
It might happen if you dropped it or something like that, causing the CPU M8 to overheat. I experienced this before.
Your GPU draws about 120W while the CPU uses roughly 80-84W. When running demanding games, your system works hard to maximize power usage from your hardware. If the wattage peaks beyond what your PSU can handle, it may shut down or restart your PC. It seems your PSU likely supports up to 500W, but that’s just a note for clarity.
Hey, two months back I got a new PSU, but the PC stopped working until now. It’s starting to fail again, just like before. Looks like the PSU wasn’t the issue.
What a disappointment. It seems strange that it performed well for a couple of months before suddenly slowing down again yesterday. I’m curious if your computer is connected directly to the power source or if you use a surge protector. Have you experienced any surge issues before? That’s the only thing that comes to mind. I’d love to assist, but I’m not sure how to help with this.
