Get your friend to provide the complete PC specifications. It might point to a faulty, outdated power supply or an overheating component. Many issues can lead to this problem.

It might be another issue—possibly related to drivers, a brief connection point, or even GPU VRAM. Still, for the PSU, it seems to either function properly or has completely stopped working. Another possibility is that the PSU remains operational but the fan fails to run, causing shutdowns from overheating or voltage problems. Make sure your PSU fan is still operating.

Pc specifications: Motherboard model ga-78lmt-usb3 version 6.0 GPU 1050 Ti CPU AMD FX-6300 6-core Processor RAM 12 GB approximate (possibly prebuilt with off-brand RAM, though Task Manager lists up to 8GB; only two slots are labeled as 12GB) Power Supply Unit unknown – will ask when they arrive. Performance notes: PSU unclear, but the old unit was slow and barely started. We replaced the SSD and reinstalled Windows, updated drivers, and it runs faster now. Still experiences crashes during load tests. During idle and while playing League of Legends, performance remained stable, but stress testing causes immediate failure. GPU temperatures stayed around 36°C when League was open.

Have you verified the temperatures, particularly under load? This old machine is prone to overheating if it hasn’t been cleaned or repasted the CPU. It might shut down because of heat. The power supply unit could also be the issue. An inexpensive PSU from a prebuilt system can be unreliable.
