Hi everyone, I encountered a problem with my PC while playing Battlefield 2042 that caused it to shut down suddenly. At first, I thought it was because of overheating, but after checking the Event Viewer, there were no critical warnings (like taskid 6008). The system just went to sleep, and I’m curious why that happened. Could anyone explain what might have caused this? Even if it’s related to heat, I want to know if my CPU could be damaged from the heat. Thanks in advance!

I believe we should get more details about your computer. This thread might need additional information. Please share the system setup and let me know if anything has been modified recently. Also, is your environment warm?

No, I didn't accidentally press the sleep key.

Perform a BIOS check on the CPU. Run a CPU benchmark to test stability. Consider possible GPU driver issues. Investigate potential causes step by step, testing each component individually.
