From my experience over the past couple of years, I've consistently appreciated the platform. The only downside has been the cables. Looking back at my previous posts, it's clear I'm entering a major phase in my tech journey. I'm moving from an Alienware prebuild with 1080/7700/16GB RAM to a 3080FTW3 with 5600X and 32GB of memory. Thinking that such a big upgrade for my PC means a similar upgrade for my VR gear, I went for the Quest 2. I'm mainly interested in a wireless setup with better quality than what the Vive provides. The Quest 2 fits the bill, but I have some concerns about performance. I currently play games like Assetto Corsa, AMS2, ACC, etc., and while my system can handle 60fps in pancake mode, I'm worried about VR smoothness. I usually manage to hit 50+fps in AC on the Vive with a borrowed 3070, so I want to know what to expect with the Quest 2. I also need to check if it's prone to those annoying god rays like the Vive lenses. Your previous advice was really useful, and I'm eager for your reply. — MrJr
