Thank you for your feedback. The solution worked temporarily, but I see your CPU is using only one core at a time. Check the Task Manager graph for more details.

I just got a new file. I launched Chrome in the background, performed a benchmark with CPU stress, and then played GTA V. Utilization reached 100%. When I closed Chrome and ended the test, one core hit its limit again and the second core did the same. Screenshot attached.

It functioned properly before two days ago but then stopped working. This suggests something altered. Our goal is to identify the exact change. Could you recall any updates to software, adjustments in your laptop placement during gaming, modifications to Windows, Steam, or game settings, or the installation of new programs? Any other changes you noticed?

Your display settings shouldn't be limiting anything in GTA 5. If you're seeing issues, make sure fullscreen is enabled and your laptop is set to fullscreen mode, as this helps avoid performance problems.
