Hey there, sorry for the simple question but right now I don’t have anyone to consult about this issue—not even Acer. The problem seems to be that my laptop is throttling quickly, almost immediately after just a few minutes of stress testing. It’s not due to overheating since it could handle up to 85°C previously. Also, the CPU speed drops consistently to a flat 0.4GHz during charging, never increasing. I’m really unsure what’s going on and would appreciate any advice you can offer. Charger rating is 65W. The PROCHOT CPU isn’t being triggered, but PROCHOT EXT and HTC confirm it’s okay. Thanks for the Reddit link!
