I've observed that my computer has become slower than before, and a few minutes after using it stops working. I can't close programs or open them, and I have to force shut it down. I ran a virus scan but found nothing. The machine is six years old and originally came with Ryzen 5 16 GB RAM, 4060 processor, 8 GB cache, 240 GB SSD, and 2x 500 GB drives with Windows 10 installed. I'm not sure if this is typical for an SSD.

Have you explored adjusting the drive settings through disk properties? Since your random read/write speeds are suboptimal for an SSD, optimization should be set automatically, but it might still be beneficial.

I didn't realize that disk, GPU, and network consumption were all zero. Plus, power consumption remains extremely minimal across all applications.

These updates are significantly quicker, though I wonder if they actually made a difference.

Consider using another device temporarily to check if the problem persists.
