Hi, I'm curious about using a fixed clock speed for a PC. Would running it at 4.8GHz CPU, 4.8GHz RAM, and 2.4GHz GPU achieve a smooth 2:1 refresh rate? Or trying 5.0GHz with DDR5 and 2.5GHz on the GPU? Anyone has experience with this setup?

Typically, setting a fixed clock boosts the frame rate since the system runs smoother. The CPU and RAM aren't the same; they handle different tasks. You're asking why you'd need two refreshes?

I understand they’re distinct concepts. An ideal CPU can handle a stable clock around 4.8-5.0GHz with RAM speeds between 4800mhz and 5000mhz—easy to locate. Running both CPU and RAM at the same speed would feel like harmony.

3) Simplicity! I’m not sure if I’m missing anything, but this all seems logical.
