Are you running the most recent BIOS and does this version support the E5700? I’d say not—it doesn’t. If this occurs, your system may start but the CPU multiplier will remain at its minimum setting for Core 2 Duo processors, which is 6. Even full load won’t change that. The multiplier stays at 6 and the clock speed will hover around 1200 MHz. If you can’t locate a BIOS update that fully supports this chip, consider using ThrottleStop. It provides access to the CPU multiplier. Raise the VID voltage to its highest allowed level and set the Set Multiplier to 15—the recommended maximum for your processor. Press the power button and your CPU should operate at its intended speed. Please share some images if you need guidance. Also, ensure SpeedStep is enabled either in the BIOS or within ThrottleStop, as this allows the CPU to reach its full capacity. Some Dell laptops may become stuck at the 6 multiplier when SpeedStep is turned off.
Currently using an SSD, I'm executing CineBench at 36.4%. The motherboard model is GA-945G-MD2.
I'll share the Cinebench R20 outcomes once completed, currently at 20 tiles.
I haven’t noticed them in the bios; I’ve reviewed it thoroughly and still can’t locate them.
