System overheating detected on ITX-build.
Hello, I completed my ITX-build today and checked the temps regularly. It looks like the motherboard and CPU are getting quite warm. I’m not sure if they should be this hot. The CPU model is a Ryzen 7 2700X stock unit, running around 80-85°C even when under load. The cooler is a Noctua NH-L9a-AM4 Mobo, paired with a Gigabyte B450-I AORUS PRO WIFI mini-ITX case, which stays between 77-85°C. I’m considering getting an all-in-one water cooler for the CPU to help manage the heat.
The PC operates at a specific room temperature. The Task Manager indicates the CPU usage reaches 100% consistently. Additional fans are present, and their performance relative to the Noctua cooler is noted. Airflow around the cooler appears adequate, though there may be some blockage from cables or components. The power supply unit is positioned correctly. The PSU fan's airflow competes with the Noctua fan, and the thermal paste application was properly executed.
