Hello! I recently added two more 8GB sticks of 3200mhz DDR4 G. Skill Trident Z RAM. After installation, my BIOS reset and the clock speed became stuck at 0.2ghz. Normally it runs smoothly at around 4.2ghz with low temperatures. In BIOS it shows 200mhz and 35°C, while Windows lists 0.2ghz and the temperature is reported as normal. After re-seating the CPU, removing and reinserting the RAM, trying different slots, and tweaking BIOS settings (core voltage, turbo boost, energy efficient boost off), the issue persists. Performance drops significantly in Windows—slow loading, laggy mouse, programs take forever to open, and posting is delayed. Everything seemed fine before the RAM upgrade, and nothing else has changed. XMP remains enabled as it was. My system specs include Gigabyte B560M DS3H, Intel Core i5 11400F, Asus RTX 2060, 6GB RAM, 600W PSU, and the new RAM. Please help if you can!

Clearing CMOS didn't work for me. I observed that after turning on, most fans except the CPU fan would activate first, then the CPU fan would turn on, followed by the computer shutting down completely, all fans turning back on except the CPU fan. BD PROCHOT was wearing red, which cleared the checkbox and increased the clock speed to 1.1ghz. A photo of the Throttle stop window was attached. If a motherboard sensor fails, it can trigger a throttling alert via the BD PROCHOT pathway, forcing your CPU to run at its lowest speed. Removing the BD PROCHOT option from ThrottleStop ensures the CPU disregards external throttling commands.
