Pc fails to start with Windows when no GPU is present, it freezes right after the BIOS window vanishes. Without a GPU it boots normally using integrated graphics. This setup has operated smoothly for several months until this problem appeared. I've tested both 1060 and 6600xt cards, which work well elsewhere. Also tried a full DDU in safe mode without success. Please advise on using iGPU if you need help. System details: Intel i5-3570k (both stock and overclocked versions) MSI Z77a-G45 board (CMOS reset applied) Windows 10 Home, Nvida 1060, AMD Radeon 6600xt

Have you checked other power units to eliminate possibilities? Also, have you tested various PCI-E expansion slots?

Inspect the PCIe ports for debris or dust. Realign the CPU. I encountered comparable issues with a 4th generation machine where the CPU's slight misalignment in the socket led to complications if it shifted.

I'll attempt this as well and check the PSU later this evening. Thanks a lot!

I’d also verify that your GPU drivers are intact. I’ve experienced problems before, and reinstalling them resolved the issue.

Inspect the motherboard for damaged capacitors, swap the CMOS battery if it's worn out, and examine the CPU socket for any bent pins.
