The problem appears linked to standby settings and/or hibernate functionality, especially with Intel drivers older than 27.20.100.8476. These drivers can interfere with modern standby modes, preventing them from working properly on laptops and thus avoiding the issue altogether.

I’ve noticed my performance right after just two minutes – and it continues to improve. At times it progresses slowly, other times it speeds up quickly. I’ve updated my Intel graphics drivers using the newest version from Intel’s site and refreshed my Nvidia drivers via Nvidia’s platform. Since my machine is a laptop with both Intel and Nvidia components, these updates helped. I’ve also adjusted the Windows 10 settings to turn off many features. I’m still trying to find a fix without having to reinstall Windows again. 29 June 2021 Edit: This idea came from a post I read, so I decided to try installing my laptop command center. After reinstalling Windows 10, I usually add it during setup, but this time I didn’t do it recently. I hoped it would resolve the DWM issue, but it didn’t seem to work.

Same as before! I switched from a 1080 8GB VRAM and never faced this issue. Now I’m using a 3080 and it’s still working fine.
