I started with a fresh setup featuring: processor I5-11600k, power supply RM850W, Corsair graphics, RX6700xt GPU, 32GB TCF memory, Tofu VulcanZ SSD, and a Gigabyte Z590 NVMe M.2 drive on a Gigabyte Z590 motherboard. The problem began when booting BIOS, causing glitches and black screens that reset. Windows launches normally without issues, though gaming or daily tasks remain unaffected. The symptoms appear only on a 27-inch 2560x1440 display at 165Hz. I’ve swapped the memory yet the issue continues. There’s no clear cause identified so far.

It seems to be using just one monitor, and it functions properly in BIOS but not in Windows. It might not be a graphics card problem if it doesn<|pad|> to appear normally in both systems. The main display could be conflicting with generic driver support, or the BIOS might have minor corruption. Clearing CMOS and re-flashing the BIOS could be a quick fix, though the chances aren’t very high. I’d also check for unusual BIOS settings that might be causing the issue.

Additional details are available—I’ve already fixed the CMOS and updated the BIOS. It seems the problem might be with the monitor, though it’s unlikely because I have another PC and it doesn’t behave like the videos I shared. In a recent update, I used a different GPU that I saved, and it functions perfectly on the large screen. Still puzzling why the 6700X works in Windows but not in BIOS.

5700xt is an older model. It might be acceptable to tolerate it and notify AMD about the problem, hoping they resolve it later.

This was my setup until recently (Aorus RX 6700XT Elite). The fix involved installing a new BIOS on the graphics card. https://photos.app.goo.gl/SAiC6D2bMy4ZJ1NDA

Hey! I'm having the same issue. Could you tell me which BIOS version you installed and where you obtained it from? Thanks!
