I've recently got a new computer about two months ago. I was gaming CS:GO when both screens went black and displayed "No Signal." This hasn't happened before, and I didn't cause it. I restarted the machine. After powering it back on, only my main monitor lit up, showing a fixed resolution of 1024 x 786 instead of my usual 1440p. In Task Manager, my GPU disappeared. I checked all cables and fixed one that was loose, but nothing changed.

PC Specs: AMD Radeon RX 6950 XT, AMD Ryzen 5800X, Intel 660p, 1TB SSD, SeaGate 2TB HDD, Gigabyte UD850GM, PSU B550, Aorus Elite AX V2, Motherboard with 2x8GB RAM at 3600MHz.

Maybe the GPU lost connection with the motherboard. Check for any issues. Other causes might also be involved.

OP didn't send a request to switch the port connected to the graphics card or mainboard. That means the dead GPU could be... inactive.

I can't take screenshots directly. However, you can open Device Manager on your computer and check for any issues with your graphics drivers. If needed, reinstalling the driver should help restore normal operation.

Use Device Manager instead of Task Manager to manage devices.

I reinstalled the drivers from a USB drive and restarted the computer, and it functions now. Tysm
