Did you just install a fresh copy of Windows 10 on the formatted SSD? Then you can use the HDD as a secondary storage drive in the system. If necessary, remove the HDD and boot from a Windows 10 USB stick containing only the SSD. It might be useful to learn more about your setup—such as the SSD, HDD, and software installed. You could have created a clone of the HDD on the SSD, especially if the SSD is larger.
