Recently, I assembled a computer that exhibits an irritating tendency to lock up unexpectedly for approximately 8-10 seconds. This typically occurs during gameplay, though it occasionally manifests while watching videos online. All components were brand new, suggesting that the issue is unlikely due to hardware malfunctions unless a mistake was made during assembly. I suspect the problem lies within either software or the operating system. Despite attempting several solutions, including a complete reinstallation and formatting of the drive followed by a fresh installation of Windows, the issue persists. Any assistance would be enormously valuable.

Hardware Specifications:
AMD Ryzen 5 2400G
GIGABYTE B450M DS3H
G.SKILL RIPJAWS V (2x4 GB) DDR4 3200
KINGSTON SSDNOW A400 480 GB
EVGA 600W 80 PLUS
REDRAGON SIDESWIPE GC-601
Windows 10 Home

Also open task manager and see if anything has an abnormally high usage of the CPU/MEM/DISK to see if its related to any of that

Are you sure you’ve installed all the necessary drivers for your motherboard and graphics card?

Utilize the program `hwinfo` to examine system temperatures and run a memory diagnostic test for RAM.

Utilize hwinfo to examine system temperatures and run memtest86+ for RAM testing.

Temperature readings and memory performance appear satisfactory, suggesting this is not the root cause of the issue.

Hello:

Have you installed all the necessary drivers for your computer's motherboard and graphics card?
I suspect you have, and the performance appears to be satisfactory.
