I built this system last December and it worked well until recently. I've noticed frequent crashes in several games, especially Steam titles, even after restarting the PC. Genshin Impact runs smoothly without any issues. The problem seems limited to gameplay only. Could you suggest possible causes or solutions? Your hardware details are helpful for troubleshooting.

Use monitoring tools such as HWMonitor or MSI Afterburner to track CPU and GPU temps during gaming. High temps may lead to instability or crashes. Ensure your hardware stays within its suggested temperature limits. If you've boosted performance settings, revert them to default. Perform stress tests and benchmarks to verify system health. Programs like Prime95, FurMark, Cinabench, and MemTest86 can detect problematic components. If crashes continue with certain titles, uninstall and reinstall them. After a crash, access the Windows Event Viewer (press Win+X → Event Viewer) and review any errors or critical events near the crash time. This can reveal the root cause. If issues persist, try swapping your GPU to see if the problem remains. This may indicate a compatibility issue with your RTX 4060 Ti.

Consider Hwinfo for tracking—it delivers the highest accuracy and records the most sensors. Share your Hwinfo datasheet while you have it. Your 32Gb RAM setup is either a 2 or 4 stick configuration, and let me know the expected speed.

Avoid many warnings and mistakes. Open programs and futures, delete all your drives using DDU, remove your graphics driver (make sure to do this in safe mode), reinstall everything and test again. If the issue continues, consider a fresh installation or reset your PC but back up your data.
