System issues during game launch causing crashes or automatic restarts in League of Legends
I experienced the same issue again. It occurred after updating my BIOS on a B450 chipset motherboard to change the CPU from R5 2600X to R5 5600, and also switched the GPU from 3060 Ti to 3070. I attempted resetting Windows 10 but it didn’t resolve the problem. After switching to Windows 11, it happened less often but still appeared. Sometimes I need three or four attempts before reaching the loading screen without crashing, while other times I can enter it five times in a row smoothly. I suspect running the League of Legends client as an administrator might help, though I’m not sure if there’s a connection.
I've tried everything the same way. Reinstalled the game (Windows version), changed CPU, GPU, PSU. Only my DDR4 Corsair Vengeance 2×8 and B550-F ASUS ROG motherboard stayed the same. My PC crashes occasionally and only sometimes boots. Now it's around 80% of the time. I updated all drivers and software. It works on LoL, Apex, Fortnite, and R6 if anyone has advice.
I face the same issue consistently; my PC restarts and resets all my settings every time I start playing League. Launching the game triggers this behavior, and I attempted a Windows reinstall but it failed to resolve the problem.
You tried the steps from the YTB video and checked for missing drivers using an app. It identified a non-installed Ryzen CPU driver. The suggested fixes might help, but I’m unsure if they’ll permanently resolve the issue since you’ve had similar crashes before. Consider giving it a shot.
