Sometimes when I load the loading screen in LoL, my PC just powers off and restarts. After a few attempts, it often boots back up in safe mode. Once there, if I switch to Windows and don’t change anything, the LoL client settings get reset. Also, any auto-login services like Steam or Battlenet log me out. It’s strange and nobody seems to have experienced this before. Got any ideas?

Consider checking your board's specifications and compatibility list. RAM issues can sometimes stem from mismatched series or outdated components. If the manufacturer doesn't recommend it, that might point to a problem. Also, test with individual DIMMs to isolate the faulty one.

Thanks for the response. It seems to occur only during the LoL loading screen launch, so I eliminated any issues with other components.

Usually a shutdown during loading means the power draw is too high, likely a PSU issue. I faced a similar situation but encountered a CTD error when launching. It seems driver or software problems were involved. Reinstalling Windows helped resolve both the shutdown and other issues.

It's not just the PSU, I believe League of Legends consumes more power than Path of Exile. I have a solid PSU at 850W. Maybe there are driver or DirectX issues, but I'm not sure what the problem is.

I usually concur. I’d reinstall Windows sometimes for better performance.

Updated: Stopped crashing after reinstalling League of Legends, but issues resurfaced after a month. Tried installing on another SSD, it worked for a week before failing again. No one seems to have reported this problem except for League of Legends itself. I've tried everything possible.

It's time to upgrade to a faster storage solution.

one of my SSDs is just a month old, and LoL is the only game that causes my PC to crash (I play a lot of games), so it's probably just a random glitch—it definitely isn't an issue with my SSD.

Consider trying the CrystaldiskInfo freeware, as technical issues like bad SSDs can occur. If the problem persists, follow the RMA process for the SSD.
