Yeah, that's fine. Right now I'm not using XMP and I'm still having the same problems. I've got some extra RAM ordered, let's check it out! Thanks!

There seems to be an issue with the forum and a SSL warning during downloads. I’ll make sure to revisit this later. If you don’t remember, let me know.

Sadly the GPU was not delivered today, and I'm still waiting for new ram sticks. I pulled out the PSU and replaced it with a older one from my previous build. However with the old PSU in there was absolutely no sign of life at all. So I am guessing it's just a expensive brick at this point. Put my "New" PSU back in, checked all the wires, the ram etc. etc. Everything hunky-dory. Googling around between crashes I downloaded Aida64 and ran some benchmarks. On the test that handles memory and cache, as soon as it goes to the "Copy" section of the test, my computer completely freezes and then shuts down. I've reached the point where I've run out of ideas for how to troubleshoot besides replacing hardware. The ram is on the way, luckily. Attached the crash that occurs when running the cache and Memory benchmark in Aida64. Thank you for all your suggestions so far. 071923-11281-01.zip

Hello once more! I’ve finally gathered my new and old components, plus a verified working PSU. Swapping the RAM seemed more reliable at first, but it crashed under load. Adding a 1080Ti didn’t improve things either. Changing the PSU didn’t yield better outcomes. Running programs like prime95 or Aida64 hasn’t produced clear results, given my limited knowledge. I manage to run tests without issues; the CPU throttles when expected, but doesn’t freeze or crash. HOWEVER! Cinebench freezes my system instantly, though I’m not very comfortable with it. That leaves me with just two suspects: the CPU or the motherboard. Which do you think is more likely? (Fortunately, everything remains under warranty.) I believe the biggest spikes in thermal throttling are caused by software errors, as they only last a fraction of a second and don’t significantly impact CPU voltage.
